Gwen Hufford

The founder of Gwen’s Avenue Salon, Gwen Hufford graduated from Empire Beauty School in the mid-1980’s and joined Uptown Salon in Kingston, PA in the late 1980’s. After building up a loyal base of clients and maintaining a high level of excellence, Gwen opened the first location of her salon in Luzerne, PA in 1999. With continued success, Gwen’s Avenue Salon opened its current location on Wyoming Avenue in Kingston, PA in 2005. She is a Goldwell color expert and foil specialist.

Lura Hufford

Lura graduated from Empire Beauty School in the mid-1990’s and is a Goldwell colorist and updo specialist.

Betty Lynn Kempinski

Betty Lynn graduated from Empire Beauty School in the late 1970’s and brings extensive experience to her practice. She is a Goldwell colorist who is a member of Who’s Who Professionals. Betty Lynn has additional certification with Renbow Unihairsity, Pivot Point, and Shear Power International.
